2023: A World Under Pressure!

As 2023 begins, the war in the Ukraine is inflaming the planet. Other than the risk of military escalation in this conflict, the effects can also be geopolitical, first of all, with a clash of ideologies between the democratic model and the authoritarian model, and secondly, economic, with inflation remaining very high throughout the world, leading to a reduction of purchasing power and an increase in social inequality.

Nevertheless, every nation in the world agrees: the war must end as soon as possible! But between the Ukraine preparing their counteroffensive and Russia trying to retain the regions they annexed, the situation seems interminable.

For an even more detailed simulation of this conflict, several wargame features have been added: digging trenches, building 'dragon's teeth' type barriers or bunkers, incorporating artillery by the use of mortar rounds, laying down minefields, simulating troop morale which influences combat effectiveness and the risk of desertions, the possibility of moving troops stealthily, the use of suicide drones, partial mobilization, budgeting for the training and equipping of infantrymen, hiring a private paramilitary group, high velocity missiles, creation of an international military base, etc.

The 'Ukrainian Counteroffensive' scenario allows you to play as the Ukraine just as they launch their attack with up to date data: front lines, troop strength, detailed weaponry, especially those promised by Western powers... Your objective is to recover as much of your territory as you can to be able to negotiate peace accords from a position of strength, all while being very mindful about the possibility of nuclear weapons.

After years of COVID, immigration is once again growing substantially throughout the world, a result of the harmful effects of global warming and economic consequences in poor countries from the rising costs of energy and food. The 2023 Edition expands the migration engine by integrating detailed information on immigration flow for all countries, entering and leaving (illegal immigration, economic, students, humanitarian, familial…) and by offering new tools for migratory policy: regulating jus solis, family unification, naturalization, regularization of illegals; construction of detention centers and border walls; agreements with countries of origin on the issuing of visas, reinforcing borders, detention of migrants in transit, facilitating the deportation of illegal immigrants; entering and leaving the Schengen Area… The new scenario on reducing illegal immigration will demonstrate how the implementation of these actions will play out.

The 2023 Edition allows you to play as any head of state or opposition leader on the planet, as the head of one or multiple nations on January 1, 2023 with all updated information, especially political changes and armament data for every country in the world.

2022: Worldwide Chaos and Devastation!
With the war in the Ukraine, the planet is in chaos and nothing will ever be the same again. What's more, there is the threat of global warming, the lingering Covid epidemic along with the risk of new variants, inflation and increased prices on the planet's key resources.

Alongside the base game mode, which allows you to play as any head of state or opposition leader in the world controlling one or multiple nations, the 2022 Edition offers multiple scenarios.

In the Ukraine scenario, save the country by playing as the Ukraine and one or more NATO countries, by resisting the advance of Russian tanks, by supporting the Ukrainian army, by urging financial sanctions against Russia, by accepting refugees, by making the Russian president unpopular in the eyes of the people or by influencing China to officially oppose the conflict, all while avoiding escalation.

The scenario on global warming involves adjusting your goals for reducing CO2 emissions. Climate Change Conferences (COP) have been added. You can also influence other countries to go further in their goals, with the artificial intelligence of leaders simulating their behavior on the subject, ultimately allowing you to see the real development of worldwide climate change up to the year 2100.

In the 'Animal Welfare' scenario, your objective is to become one of the most honorable countries in the world regarding animal rights. To do this, you will have a specific budget and an arsenal of legislation on hunting, animal rights and various other regulations (bullfighting, production of foie gras, battery farming...).

The new scenario, 'Biden's Challenge: Three Years to Succeed' puts you in the shoes of the American president with the goal of implementing all the reforms you promised by the end of your term.

The 'French Elections' scenario allows you to play as any candidate in the French election in April 2022.

Besides these scenarios, the game also has new features including: simulating the appearance and development of conspiracy theories with new budgets and actions on the internet and social media, inclusion of fake news with the possibility of combating them or creating them, the development of secret services abroad along with the manipulation of social media and improvements allowing the overthrow of a foreign head of state, management of Covid in 2022 with vaccine boosters and the simulation of new variants, the development of garbage recycling along with a new tax on the use of plastic packaging, the addition of military battle robots, new SMR nuclear power plants, new music awards (Eurovision, Grammy Awards) and sports (eSports, MMA) and numerous improvements on the God'n'Spy add on, including the detailed calculation of the level of dictatorship in a country.

2021: A Year of Challenges!

In 2020, the pandemic flattened economies, sent debt through the roof, and increased economic insecurity. But at the beginning of 2021, hope was reborn with the arrival of vaccines against Covid-19: the end of the health crisis and the return of growth are on the horizon, and with the inauguration of the new American president, a new era of diplomacy has also begun.

As head of one or several nations, win the battle against the virus by carrying out a vaccination campaign, revitalize your economy and move your pawns on the political chessboard with new strategies: the creation of party coalitions, negotiations during meetings of heads of state, free-trade agreements, worldwide taxes, diplomatic initiatives (scientific cooperation, student exchange, year of culture)...

In a vast, highly realistic simulation of the European Union, there are many political conundrums to solve if you want to develop the organization: voting and institutional operation rules, detailed budgets, new taxes, fiscal or social harmonization, commercial agreements...

And there are other challenges to face: in 'Biden's Challenge' scenario, try to reach your ambitious goals as the new American head of state; participate in the German federal elections and if you win, try to form a coalition to govern the country; and with the new worldwide fatality management system, take action to reduce their impact and limit the number of deaths.
